BCS Bus Charter Service

Safety & compliance

Licensed operators, insured vehicles, EU driving-time rules built into every plan — how we keep group trips safe and compliant.

Licensed local operators

Every service is performed by a coach company licensed for passenger transport in its country (EU Community License for international coach services where required). Before a partner joins our network we verify its operating license, passenger liability insurance, vehicle fleet and current price list, and we review service quality after each trip.

Vehicles

Drivers and driving time

EU Regulation 561/2006 and the tachograph rules apply to every coach we book: a maximum of 9 hours of driving per day (10 hours twice a week), a 45-minute break after 4.5 hours of driving, 11 hours of daily rest, and the 12-day rule for international tours. Our planning system checks every day of your program against these limits and tells you when a second driver, an overnight stop or a driver change is needed. Details on EU driver working hours.

Insurance and liability

Operators carry the passenger liability insurance required in their country. BCS Charter Inc. acts as the contracting party and booking agent; our liability is described in the Terms & Conditions. We recommend that groups also hold travel insurance for cancellation, medical and personal effects.

Data and payment security

Payments are processed by our payment provider; card numbers never reach our servers. Personal data is handled under our Privacy Policy, with GDPR obligations observed for customers in the EU and EEA.

Reporting a concern

If anything about a vehicle, driver or service falls short of these standards, tell us immediately from the conversation panel on your quotation page or through the contact page. Every report is reviewed with the operator.
